Red Row Farm is a 5 acre holding, consisting of a 2.5 acre pasture, a half acre pond, a quarter acre garden plot and various other spaces we haven’t figured out how to use quite yet. We’re also renting an acre of land across the street for additional produce. Here’s what we’re growing/raising so far:
6Border Cheviot Sheep, 4 Tamworth Pigs, a breeding pair of New Zealand White Rabbits, 2 Toulouse Geese, Khaki Campbell and Rouen Ducks, Broad Breasted Bronze and Bourbon Red Turkeys, a variety of Chickens and various Guinea Hens.
16 Apple Trees, 12 Black Berry and 12 Raspberry Canes, 6 Blueberry Bushes, Gooseberries, Service berries, Currants and a Fig Tree.
Arugula, Asparagus, Beans, Beets, Carrots, Collards, Corn, Cucumbers, Herbs, Kale, Lettuce, Melons, Onions, Peanuts, Peas, Peppers, Potatoes, Pumpkins, Rhubarb, Spinach, Swiss Chard, Squash, Strawberries and Tomatoes… for now.
