Just this week, our New Hampshire Red rooster decided to start crowing. Alston refers to him as cock-a-do-dooooo. I think it’s great, but my bedroom is also the farthest room from the chicken coop, so ask me again come spring when the windows are open.

Last week Wednesday, Will discovered our first duck egg: So far we’ve gotten an egg a day, with the exception of this morning when we got two.
